I am exhausted. Trying to do Bikram Yoga daily and Brain Highways is mentally and physically exhausting. I've only crept 2 laps today because I'm too tired to do anymore than that! After yoga, I need a good 2-3 hour nap because it is so challenging. Fortunately, what I'm finding is that the Bikram Yoga works many of the proprioceptive areas of the body so it truly does work in tandem with the Brain Highways course.
Two amazing things have happened this week with Brain Highways. First, the proprioceptive receptors in my feet have kicked in! I literally feel a major difference on the outer areas of my feet. It's amazing! Second, as I creep on the floor, I am finding that I am less disgusted with having my belly on the floor. In other words, I'm becoming more comfortable. My arm and leg joints seem to be loosening up, if only a bit.
